| Opening Dance |
After seven weekends of intensive pageant training, our 14 beautiful Miss Taiwanese American finalists had an unforgettable pageant night on August 3rd, 2013, at the San Gabriel Hilton. Witnessed by more than 500 guests, the competition was a tough one consisting of opening dance, self-introduction, talent performance, and Q & A. At the conclusion of the pageant night, one queen, six princesses, and six ambassadors were chosen. They were each awarded with a crown, a sash, trophy, and prize money.
The 14 finalists came from different walks of life, but they became good friends through the pageant. In the upcoming year, they will represent the Taiwanese American community in many events such as parades, festivals, banquets, fashion shows, and charity functions such as hospital visits and reading to the kids.
